The Mummy

The mummy (aka Im-Ho-Tep aka Ardath Bey played by Boris Karloff) of an ancient Egyptian priest is revived by archeologists. The mummy then tries to resurrect his love (Princess Anck-es-en-Amon aka Helen Grosvenor played by Zita Johann), all the while people start getting knocked off in The Mummy.

- One of the many people upset when the reincarnation scene was censored out of The Mummy was Zita Johann (who played character Helen Grosvenor aka Princess Anck-es-en-Amon), who at the time believed in reincarnation.

- The Hays office censored the scene showing the reincarnation, even though the scene was crucial in telling the story of The Mummy.
