HORROR MOVIE SYNOPSIS

Son of Dracula

Count Alucard (played by Lon Chaney Jr.) marries a rich plantation owner's daughter (Katherine Caldwell played by Louise Allbritton) and turns her into a vampire. Things eventually turn for the worse for Count Alucard and his new vampire bride in the Son of Dracula movie.

HORROR TRIVIA

- The starring role as listed in the credits in the movie the Son of Dracula is Lon Chaney as Count Dracula, but it is actually his son Lon Chaney Jr. Lon Chaney died about a decade before the Son of Dracula was ever filmed.

- After being turned into a vampire in the movie the Son of Dracula, Katherine Caldwell (played by Louise Allbritton) turns into a bat that has a shadow; but the bat she turns into is invisible.
