A mad scientist (Dr. Niemann played by Boris Karloff) revives all three monsters: Frankenstien's Monster (played by Glenn Strange), the Wolf Man (played by Lon Chaney Jr.), and Dracula (played by John Carradine). With the help of his hunched-back assistant Daniel (played by J. Carrol Naish), Dr Niemann plots his revenge against all who have wronged him in the past in the House of Frankenstein.
- The original title of the House of Frankenstein was The Devil's Brood.
- Universal Pictures considered Bela Lugosi for Dracula in the movie the House of Frankenstein, but chose John Carradine instead.
