Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man

The Wolf Man (aka Larry Talbot played by Lon Chaney Jr.) tries to find a cure for affliction, so he seeks out Dr. Frankenstein for help. He soon finds out that Dr. Frankenstein is no longer alive and runs into Frankenstein's Monster (Bela Lugosi). The Wolf Man then seeks out the help of the late Dr. Frankenstein's daughter, Baroness Elsa Frankenstein (Ilona Massey), but inevitably the Wolf Man and Frankenstein's monster square off in the battle of the beasts in Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man.

- While it was known that Lon Chaney Jr. played the Wolf Man and Bela Lugosi played Frankenstein's monster in Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, Lon Chaney Jr. later said he played both the Wolf Man and Frankenstein's Monster in the movie. (It could have been remembered incorrectly by Lon Chaney Jr. as this was said in his later years.)

- It seems Bela Lugosi was duped into the role of Frankenstein's Monster in Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man. As he originally turned down the part in the original Frankenstein movie because there were no speaking parts, all of the Monster's dialogue was eventually edited out of this movie. This was actually done because the producers thought Bela Lugosi's speaking performance was sub-par.
